Makoto, an IT professional with the Hawaii Department of Education since 2011, fosters growth and success by generously opening the shop during off-hours. His willingness to go above and beyond exemplifies the highest qualities of teamwork and dedication. A steadfast pillar of support for his community. Uncle Jon is an essential part of our team. He is a mentor who always goes above and beyond for our students in and outside of the shop. He has a background in construction, and he supports the team by tackling shop projects with precision and care. Whether it's building field elements, chaperoning trips, or staying for late-night work sessions, Uncle Jon is always there. His unwavering dedication and selfless commitment have been instrumental in driving the team's success and fostering a supportive, inspring environment for every student.

Doug, a skilled builder and AC contractor, is a hands-on mentor for our robotics team. With experience in home construction, car repair, and real-world problem solving, he teachs students practical skills and helps tackle tough challenges. A natural teacher, Doug's calm, supportive approach inspires future engineers every day.
